Ike Onyekachi and Igwe John Paul were today arraigned at Milimani Law Courts where the prosecution alleged that the two were arrested at Hurlingham shopping centre on January 18 for being illegally present in Kenya.

They faced another charge of obtaining goods by false pretence.

The prosecution claimed that the two Nigerians obtained fourteen laptops all valued at Ksh 942, 999 from Text book centre limited by falsely pretending they had deposited a cheque for Stanbic Bank.

Appearing before Magistrate Bernard Ochoi at Milimani Law Courts in Nairobi, the accused denied the charges and the case was adjourned to January 31, 2024 for the probation department to prepare pre-bail report.

The case comes at a time when Kenyan authorities are burning the midnight oil in search of a Nigerian National believed to be the Primary suspect in the extremely brutal murder of JKUAT student, Rita Waeni.
